Welcome to the Homepage of NCERA-148
(formerly NCR-148)

Migration and dispersal are important aspects of the biology of many agricultural pests, including soybean rust, whiteflies, and emerald ash borers. Members of our committee are working to understand and predict these processes to improve approaches to preventing crop injury by pests.

NCERA-148 is a group of research scientists from across the United States and beyond. The committee provides a forum to discuss our work on migration and dispersal, and for coordinating joint research and outreach projects. We meet annually to update the committee on our progress, and reports from participating states can be found in this website.

Our group includes entomologists, plant pathologists, ecologists, and climatologists. These disciplines are brought together in a multi-disciplinary approach to address issues of relevance to US agriculture.

This website contains information on upcoming meetings, employment opportunities, reports of past meetings, and contact information for members of our group.

If you are interested in attending a meeting or joining our committee, please contact us.
